Mindful Eating

As you have read on my website, I am a firm believer in mindful eating. Developing a healthy relationship with food is integral in making a long lasting lifestyle change.  

Here are few recommendations on how to mindfully eat.

1. Make the commitment - set aside a few minutes each day to be in the moment with either a snack or a meal.

2. Make a simple food choice- try with just one type of food or single food such as a strawberry.

3. Offer your full attention - Use all your senses to taste and enjoy the food.

 

Practie this daily and it will be come easier.
