With the changing of the seasons, now is the time to prepare your Wellness Kit. The idea behind a wellness kit is to provide you with all the tools to help you feel better when exhausted or you are feeling burned out. We all need support during busy times, so prepare now for when November and December arrive (next week, eek!). This wellness kit can also be used throughout the year during a busy or stressful time in your life. Some of these items you may already be practicing (extra sleep or self care routines), either way it is a good guide to get you feeling balanced and rested.

  1. Matcha Tea | Did you ever notice that when you feel stressed out that drinking a pot of tea can be relaxing. Yes, part of it is the routine and sitting down with a warm mug. But Matcha tea, in particular, is high in antioxidants, amino acids, and chlorophyll, which is responsible for it’s beautiful bright green color. Often clients come to me for a host of issues fatigue, digestion issues, weight management and hormonal imbalances. These imbalances can stem from either PCOS, thyroid issues, or adrenal fatigue. Several clients I work with are TTC (Trying To Conceive) and they come to see me to improve their health, lose weight or just feel better to set them up for pregnancy. Some of them are dealing with infertility for various reasons (PCOS, endometriosis or unexplained infertility).  Most of them are already loading up on organic fruits and veggies, staying away from processed foods, and avoiding alcohol. Also taking prenatal vitamins for insurance. But is there actually a fertility diet? If you read the wild internet rumors, it is really hard to discern fact from fiction. When TTC,  it is important to maximize your chances of getting pregnant by eating whole foods and de-stress. Furthermore,  it is important to know what feels healthy, what feels right, and what feels good to you and your body. Learning to nourish yourself as you prepare your body for pregnancy is the best you can do for you (and your baby).

Whether you are TTC (Trying To Conceive) or are already pregnant. Ask yo...
